hi,

I'm an amateur  photographer. when younger my only interest at school was art/photography. at school i was a tad misunderstood and my art teacher  took me under her wing and taught me the black art of 35mm photography and how to use a darkroom..  i actualiy achieved a cse grade one in art and photography.. my my one and only exam pass!

and in the last 18months ago or so my late farther gifted me a sony cybershot and my interest in photography had been reignited.. and after many years of neglecting one of the few things that i enjoy other than riding a bike.. i am looking forward to learning how to get the most out of my photography once more though nowadays in digital rather than 35mm..

 

for the 2014 season i have upgraded my equipment to a canon eos dslr and i am looking forward to capturing some awe inspiring images.

and a big thankyou to fellow snappers ( Phil Nilsson..John 'Jack' Barnes..Steven Thorpe..colin port..rob..dave jackson.. ) and many others for there help support and advise

 

young george has also upgraded from his compact to the cybershot with telephoto lens and is looking forward to getting trackside and snapping away..

 

as an ex rider now unfortunatly unable to ride due to ill health i have found photography goes in some small way toward filling the void left  due to being unable to ride so i thought i would try and  make a little website to share pictures etc..  i still remain extremely passionate about everything 2 wheeled and being involved in motorsport even in a small capacity gives me great pleasure.

 

after our 1st season in the thundersportgb paddock in 2013 we have got the bug bigtime, we have made some great friends and have thoroughly enjoyed the great atmosphere and close racing the series provides and we would like to thank the whole thundersport team  marshalls and riders and fellow snappers for making both myself and george feel so welcome.

 

as usual at most rounds i will be accompanied by young george and we look forward to seeing you all again and meeting any new riders and teams that have signed up for this season.

please feel free to say hi to myself and george at race weekends.. theres always a cuppa waiting in the thunderbus  :O)
